Thank you for choosing Explore More – Travel to assist in planning your upcoming vacation! I am excited to hopefully work with you to create a seamless and memorable travel experience. Please take a moment to review the following important details about our working relationship with clients.
How We Work
As a professional travel advisor, my services are completely free to you—I do not charge planning fees at this time (and hope not to as long as I can). Instead, I am compensated by travel vendors (hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, etc.) only when you book your trip through me. You will be paying these commissions regardless if you used a TA or not. When you don’t use me as your travel advisor, the travel supplier (even Expedia!) will just absorb the additional revenue, and you are out the added hands-on experience. That savings is NOT passed on to you.
The time and effort I invest in researching, customizing itineraries, and securing the best options for you is all done in good faith. Therefore, using my quotes and recommendations to book elsewhere or shop around with multiple agents is not cool (and honestly, a bit discouraging). I kindly ask for your commitment to booking with me if you choose to move forward with the travel plans I put together for you.
Explore More - Travel provides travel planning services for clients based on experience & knowledge of the industry & suppliers. These services include destination research, personalized itineraries & professional recommendations, travel arrangements, bookings & reservations and traveller services & assistance before and during travel.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure travel is planned to perfection, please understand unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, politics, war, pandemics may occur. In these events all reasonable attempts will be made to ensure your satisfaction however are outside of my control. Pricing & Booking Policy
Quotes are subject to change until a reservation is secured with a deposit. Prices, availability, and promotions can fluctuate, sometimes even within hours. If you love your quote, I strongly encourage booking within 3-5 days to avoid disappointment.
No price guarantees – The only way to lock in pricing is to book. Delays in booking may result in increased costs or loss of availability.
Payment deadlines must be met to avoid cancellation. I will provide reminders, but it is ultimately your responsibility to make payments on time.
Cancellations, Changes & Travel Protection
Travel protection is highly recommended to protect your investment. Without it, you may lose money if you need to cancel, experience delays, or have unexpected issues. But what what is most important about Travel Protection is that it is essential for out-of-country medical care. Most domestic health insurance plans offer little to no coverage abroad, leaving you financially vulnerable in the event of a medical emergency. Some (very few) companies offer corporate international travel insurance (travel-specific employer plans). Even if your plan includes emergency benefits abroad, they may require you to pay upfront and submit claims for reimbursement—and coverage can be limited and/or excludes evacuation.
Credit Card Travel Insurance: It’s Not What You Think - Many premium credit cards (e.g., Chase Sapphire Preferred/Reserve, Amex Platinum) offer some travel protections, but they're not the same as travel health insurance.
Here’s what credit card travel insurance may include:
Trip cancellation/interruption
Lost luggage reimbursement
Rental car coverage
Some emergency medical benefits (often capped at $2,500–$100,000)
However:
Not all cards include medical evacuation, which can cost $25,000–$100,000+.
Pre-existing conditions are rarely covered.
You typically must pay for the trip with the card to activate coverage.
Any changes after booking are subject to the vendor’s policies, and fees may apply.
